Youth Works Community Interest Company is a not for profit organisation delivering services to young people and their families in the Kettering and Corby area and across North Northamptonshire.
To grow community based wraparound education, advocacy, support and recreation from vibrant, accessible venues that have local young people and their families at the core.
Community focussed - recognising the importance of feeling part of your community.
Individuality - recognising each person is different.
Nurturing - helping people to grow and achieve their potential safely.
Responsive - adapting to changing needs and circumstances.
Reliable - we do what we say we are going to do.
Established by a group
of local youth workers following changes to local authority funding of
youth services, Youth Works CIC has been in operation since June 2006. Originally set up to provide youth work services to young people in Corby and Kettering, we have now grown and developed youth and family services across North Northamptonshire. These services include an alternative education provision, early help interventions, counselling and therapeutic services and a range of youth and community projects.
We have now been supporting young people in their communities for 10 years!
